Privacy
This page explains, in plain terms, what data CheriHire holds and how it is used. It is a summary of current practice. For a specific legal agreement, contact us.
What we collect
- Account details for employers and job seekers, such as name, email, and the organisation you belong to.
- Resumes and documents that you upload or that an employer brings into the platform.
- Structured profiles that the system builds from those resumes, such as skills and work history.
- Activity needed to run the service, such as sign in events, uploads, and audit records.
How we use it
- To read and structure resumes so candidates can be compared fairly.
- To produce authenticity and fit scores, each of which traces back to the evidence behind it.
- To run the hiring workflow: rounds, offers, referrals, and joining.
- To keep the service secure, which includes rate limiting and audit logging.
What we do not do
- We do not use protected attributes to rank or score a candidate.
- We do not let one organisation see another organisation data. Data is isolated per organisation.
- We do not make an automatic hiring decision. A person always decides.
Your choices
Job seekers can update their profile and ask for their data to be removed. Employers control the data inside their own organisation. To make a request, use the contact page.
Retention and security
Data is kept for as long as an account is active or as needed to run the service, then removed on request. Uploads are scanned, access is controlled, and sensitive actions are recorded in an audit trail.
